Tuition at Still Water is Far Less than Other Schools for Troubled Teenagers

Still Waters offers around-the-clock care, three complete meals per day, a Christian education, mentoring, and more. Still Waters is a clean, safe and secure environment for your child located on a wonderful campus. Tuition covers almost everything, and you can apply for free. Our policy does not “nickel and dime” parents with unnecessary fees.

Still Waters Christian Boarding School strives to deliver the best possible training, both spiritually and educationally, at the most reasonable price possible. Tuition and fees are geared to cover the regular operational expenses of the program. We urge parents and others to consider that Still Waters Christian Boarding School, as a ministry of Lighthouse Baptist church, Lafayette, Indiana, tuition is exempt from federal income tax under section 501 C (3A) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501 C (3A); therefore, any donated cash and/or property may be deducted from the donor’s federal income tax.

Are Scholarships Available?

Still Waters is a nonprofit, charitable institution. The scholarships funds that we have available to us, made possible by donations, are distributed equally in the form of keeping our overall tuition low. It costs more to run the home per student than families actually pay, however we sometimes provide individual scholarships to boys who need to stay longer than a year, and have proven themselves to be excellent students. These “extended stay” scholarships are limited to the generosity of friends and families who donate to the scholarship fund.

Will My Insurance or the Government Help Cover the Cost?

Insurance will generally not cover Still Waters tuition, since we are categorized as a “boarding school.” However, you should check with your personal insurance to see if any of our fees may be eligible for reimbursement.

If you would like more information, the current tuition rates, or should have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via phone, email (, or submit an Inquiry Form.
